spring carnival

The spring carnival was pretty fun. I watched a bunch of people trying to get eachother drowned, a teacher getting dumped, and I bought a freezie. Except, FISHY, ate half of it. =]
lol. And he only took 3 bites.

And Laurie went home first...I don't know if she is mad at me or not. =[

I just came back from a party. And I wouldn't call it the best party. Jessica was there and so were her mom and brother Alexander.
At first everything was fine. Then I accidentally hit Alexander's head in front of his mom. I apologized and it was okay.
But then, my sister threw the ball at Alexander for fun, but it hit him in the eye. So then I apologized to his mom for my sister.

Since the ball was too dangerous. I took it away and suggested to play the original Hide and Seek.
When Jessica was looking, I think she wanted to make it more exciting, and sat on the chair her brother was hiding under. But who knew that Alexander's elbow was right under the chair.
And he started crying...
And they started hitting eachother....

piano competition

Today was my piano competition. I'm playing a duet, with Winnie.
We were supposed to bring the book to the competition. But our piano teacher lost the book. So we had to tell the judge we lost it.
So then in the end, even though we were getting a gold, we didn't have our book and got silver.

I got all the signatures on my absent form signed except for Mr. Olsen. And I was looking everywhere after school...
And...I just got a call from the school saying I was absent today....

synergy vs. baseball

I remember Mr.Sale saying Synergy kids are not good at sports. and most of us just proved him right today. (Well, there are exceptions, like Edward and Jacob who are naturals. )

We were playing baseball in PE, I didn't know how to use the bat and kept missing the ball. At last I hit the ball on my last chance, but it got out in the air. I only batted once and I got out.

Evan got himself strike out even after Mr.Pears gave him two extra chances. I guess I'm not the only one who can't bat.

yup. You heard me right. Geoffrey. He was supposed to be the guy who was born for only food and sports. He also got himself strike out.

piano competition on thursday

Today I was not in a good mood. And school just passed by like a blur. I didn't even get anything inside my brain.
Maybe I'm just feeling a bit stressed. There are a lot of pressure. End of the final term is coming up and I have another piano competition on Thursday. So I will not be at school for the first 2 blocks.

ash park

Yesterday my sister wanted to go to ash park. So my mom gave me the choice of washing dishes + cleaning up the house or taking my sister to ash park. And i chose the second one.
Good thing I brought City of Ashes with me. I was so surprised when I found out Simon became a vampire....
It was cold and I was shivering after 10 minutes of reading.
Then I met my friend Anson, and we started playing soccer. And for some reason, he always get hit by the ball. =]

Yesterday I went to this party and I had to perform piano. That person's house is sooo BIG. There are 3 floors and the house is on a mountain.. You can even see the ocean. After the performances we played games and our team lost. But at least I got a China flag sticker....

I'm getting a B in science, so I have to work harder.
And I also have to work on the forum and Go lessons. =/
Laurie is cutting her hair on this weekend, to donate to the charity I think...=]
She's thinking of getting bangs, so I hope her haircut will be okay for her.

My mom wanted me to get into PE leadership, so I went to find Mr. Johnston. And unfortunately, it was full...
Now my mom is going to start lecturing me about taking the opportunity when I had the chance.
But I don't regret that at all. Because that's only what she wants.

I know that I've skipped a lot of blogs and my theories. But I have ANOTHER piano competition coming up in a week, and a piano performance in 2 weeks. And we get more homework than usual since the finals are coming soon... DX

Wasting my time and energy in grade 8 is not a good thing, because I know it's just going to get busier...

Gauss

Our speech was due today and I was pretty nervous about it. But luckily, Jessie and I went to english early, so we didn't have to present. phew... -___-
The results for the Gauss contest is out!! I got 138, which is 3rd in the school. ^-^ yay me! But Gavin got perfect and 1st in the school.
oh well, Gavin is too Asian. He gets perfect on everything related to math, and yay me!!!

We went to playland.
Angel and Jessie made me go on some really scary rides, even though they knew that I'm scared of heights...(and I also got soaked from the water ride) =[

Then after playland, I was invited to the Kiwanis music festival concert to get my $50 scholarship. =DD

Today is the party. =D
Everyone seemed to have fun, except they were all doing whatever they pleased. They should have just sit and watched the movie properly...
We watched Avatar. Although I've watched it 4 months ago on my birthday, I liked it.

And mr. Olson got a haircut!!! =DD It looks good.
Laurie's going to cut her hair too. I can't wait to see it.

Da Sun Run

I went to the Sun Run. There were so many people..O.O
Good thing I found Nick, Allison, and Edward.
Funny how it's on "Mother's Day" and it's called "Sun(Son) Run"....lol.
The race was supposed to start at 9. But there were too many people and we waited there for 50 minutes!!! I was okay for the first 3 km, then I started getting tired.
But Eddie wouldn't let me rest..
And he dragged me for 2 more km... It was painful..

Then afterwards, I was going to take the sky train to go home. So Eddie and I walked back to the sky train station 1.5 km away back the route of the race.
But he didn't have money...and somehow he talked the guard into getting him a free ride. =]

And then Laurie tells me there's a skytrain station right beside the finish place...

fieldtrips

Tomorrow is the grade 8 track meet. =]
Although I'm only doing one event...I hope I do good in it.
Today we had a fieldtrip to a farm. There were very interesting things like slugs and centipedes.
Laurie and I even found a black ladybug with red spots on them.
I caught an ant and started playing with it...until somebody said it was poisonous.. D=

piano competition

Yesterday I had a piano competition at lunch, so I couldn't busker. sorry everyone.
For the competition, I was playing a duet with little girl called Yifan...(I know. but it's not the guy from our school)
We got gold...but i don't know what's wrong with that judge. because EVERYBODY got gold. D=
Well...that made the competition sort of meaningless. At least I've gained some experience...yeah...

We went to the opera. =]
Laurie, Jamie, Jessie and I took the bus. And we met Patrick on the bus later.
After we got off the bus, we had no clue where to go, and we met Gavin.
He was also no help, and even leading us the wrong way. =]
We asked people for directions, while Gavin wondered off to the opposite direction.
But amazingly, Gavin got there in time =D

buskerfest

Today's the first day of Buskerfest. I don't have a group but I was planning to play the piano. but the grade 9s were all crowded around the atrium. So I went around for donations =]
I got a total of $5.25!!! =DD
And I gave it to Jimmy, the grade 9's treasurer, I think...
So I hope I get to perform something tomorrow.

I couldn't stop listening to it yesterday night.
My piano competition is in 3 days....nervous....DX Since I messed up a little on my last competition. And after I pass piano grade 10, I'm planning to learn violin!! =DD
I hope I can keep it up.
